Like a lot of people working in and around technology, I found myself drowning in AI news. Research papers, product launches, funding rounds, regulatory battles, arriving from dozens of sources every single day. There was no single place that gave a clear, honest overview of what was actually happening.

So I built one for myself. A system that pulls in AI news from around the world, filters out the noise and distills each story into something I could actually read in the time I had. It was never meant to be a product, just a tool to help me stay informed without spending half my day doing it.

When I started sharing it with friends and colleagues, the reaction surprised me. People wanted access. They were dealing with the same problem: too much information, too little signal and not enough time to separate the two.

That is when CurrentLens became something more intentional. I opened it up properly as a real editorial outlet for anyone who cares about artificial intelligence and wants to follow its development without reading forty tabs a day.
